LiF 2016: LEMO is turning its employees into innovators with Lean Startup
Innovations are like people: they are born, they continuously grow, they saturate, and decline. In the past 15 years, a product’s life cycle has shortened fourfold. At the same time, 6 out of 7 innovation projects never reach the market. This means innovation is more essential than ever, but also remains rather risky.
.
According to the Accenture study, 70% of CEOs identified innovation as strategic, while only 20% of employees feel engaged in this innovation effort. What is the reason behind this? Why do companies seem unable to tap into their employees’ innovation potential which is awaiting to be expressed?
.
At LEMO, we launched different initiatives to better understand this situation and implement viable solutions in order to transform every employee into an innovator and reduce our innovation risk.
.
During the LiF 2016, LEMO innovation manager, Mathieu Menet, will present key findings resulting from different initiatives. You will discover:
- Key takeaways from our sources of inspiration, such as Montessori education
- Why we chose Lean Startup as our innovation method
- What tools and environment we created to motivate our employees to innovate
