LEMO, the world leader in the design and manufacturing of precision custom connection and cable solutions, started its lean innovation journey with the Top Management support in 2014, by firstly identifying the company’s core innovation needs and establishing an Innovation Task Force team. To support the implementation of lean practices across product development, LEMO developed the Innovation Task Force Framework and has been continuously updating it ever since. LEMO strives for customer-centric product development and has established metrics to assess its Innovation Capability, Velocity and Impact in order to receive feedback and be able to rapidly adapt the tools and techniques needed to continuously improve the innovation process.
