The Best Practices Discovery Project is running annually since 2015 under the organization and sponsorship of the Lean Analytics Association (LAA) and the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).
A BEST PRACTICE is a solution that has consistently produced positive and sustainable results compared to those achieved by other means.
LEAN INNOVATION is the application of lean thinking principles across the entire value-chain including the new product development.
* Data collection interviews will be carried out with lean leaders in your company to document the evidence about the challenges, lessons learned and impact that lean thinking can bring to design, development and innovation.
** No confidential information will be requested, only the experiences that companies are willing to share.
PARTICIPATION IS FREE FOR COMPANIES that decide to share their lean journey (only travel expenses apply). Below is the table where you can find the comparison of the VALUE RECEIVED (free of charge) and COMPANY INVESTMENT.
* All participating companies will be given one online access to the SMART Maturity Assessment tool that enables a qualitative assessment of the company’s maturity level of the implementation of lean principles in innovation.
** Travel expenses of two researchers from LAA to your location to conduct the face-to-face interview. The estimated cost is a maximum of €3,000 for EU and €6,000 for overseas companies.
*** Travel expenses for your team to the Lean Innovation Forum.
