Servomex is an international manufacturer of gas measurement solutions providing products and services to different industrial sectors. Servomex is spread across the world but we have worked closely with the UK Technical and Service Centre (UKTC), which started its lean product development journey in 2014 and it has since implemented a range of practices across the business. This is also the year when the Servomex Business System (SBS) was created to make a positive change in the company.
The Servomex case describes in details some of the lean product development best practices employed in the company, highlights the learnings and challenges they had to overcome on their journey, and provides the insights into the impact lean practices has had to the product development.
